Beth Atkins focuses on business law and real property transactions. She has extensive experience handling a wide range of business matters, including business formation, acquisition, merger and sale transactions and business lending. Beth's practice also includes commercial property transactions, as well as representing homeowners’ and property owners’ associations. Beth is a resident of New Bern, North Carolina, where she has served as the managing partner for the firm's New Bern office since 1990. Beth is a member of North Carolina State Bar and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. She was Chair of the Board of Directors of the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce for 2008, and Co-Chair of First Night New Bern 2010. She is also a member of Tryon Civitans. Her professional and academic honors include: Phi Beta Kappa, 1982; Craven County Distinguished Woman of the Year, 1994; Outstanding Leadership Award from Leadership Craven Alumni Association, 1995; New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman's Award, 1994; New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award, 1999.
