Cader Howard is the firm’s Managing Shareholder. Cader has extensive experience in a number of areas: (1) business litigation and dispute resolution (2) commercial real property transactions including financing, leasing and development (3) representations of banks and other institutional lenders (4) corporate mergers and acquisitions, commercial borrowing, executive compensation, and general corporate law and (5) creditor representation. His extensive background in these diverse areas of practice enables him to offer business clients a uniquely overarching perspective in helping them address their particular needs.
Cader is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Cader completed six years served on the Permanent Judicial Commission of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (P.C.U.S.A.). He is currently moderator of the Permanent Judicial Comission of New Hope Presbytery. He has been active as an elder, deacon, and adult Sunday School teacher in his local church. He serves on the local board of directors of BB&T. He has served as President of the Cary Rotary Club. He is a former director of the Cary Chamber of Commerce. He served as the president of the Wake County chapter of Davidson College Alumni for thirteen years. While in law school, Cader was on staff of the North Carolina Law Review from 1970 to 1972.
