With more than forty-five years of experience as an attorney, Cader’s diverse practice background enables him to offer business clients a uniquely overarching perspective in helping to address their specific legal needs. In addition to his practice experience, he currently serves as the firm’s Managing Shareholder.

Cader has partnered with clients in a number of various legal areas and matters including:

  • Business litigation and dispute resolution
  • Commercial real property transactions including financing, leasing and development
  • Representations of banks and other institutional lenders
  • Corporate mergers and acquisitions, commercial borrowing, executive compensation, and general corporate law
  • Creditor representation

Whether representing a creditor in a bankruptcy hearing, a real estate developer with leasing agreements, a tenant about to enter into a commercial lease, or a business owner involved in a lawsuit, Cader enjoys the work he does and leveraging his experience to help clients achieve a resolution that aligns with their goals.

BAR & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Cader is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He has an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell legal rating service, the highest rating available.

Cader completed six years of service on the Permanent Judicial Commission of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (P.C.U.S.A.). He is currently Moderator of the Permanent Judicial Commission of New Hope Presbytery and formerly served as Moderator of the North Carolina Synod Permanent Judicial Commission. He has also formerly served on the Coordinating Body/Council of New Hope Presbytery.  In his local church, he has been active as an elder, deacon, adult Sunday School teacher, and Stewardship Chairperson.

Additionally, Cader currently served on the local board of directors of BB&T. In the past, he was president of the Cary Rotary Club, charter President of the Cary Civitan Club, and director of the Cary Chamber of Commerce. He also served as the President of the Wake County Chapter of Davidson College Alumni for thirteen years.

Cader graduated from Davidson College in 1969. While in law school at the University of North Carolina, he was a staff member of the North Carolina Law Review from 1970 to 1972.
