Wesleigh attended Washington and Lee University and graduated cum laude in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Classics. During her time at W&L, Wesleigh played on the Women’s Basketball team for three years and captained the team in her final season.
Wesleigh earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Throughout law school, Wesleigh completed internships with the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of North Carolina, participated in the Military and Veterans Law Clinic, and was recognized for completing over one hundred hours of pro bono legal services. Wesleigh served as a board member of UNC Women in Law also as a staff member and Articles Editor of the North Carolina Law Review. Wesleigh published a Comment with the Law Review in her second year and graduated cum laude in 2019.
