Kate is an experienced attorney who focuses her practice on estate administration, guardianship proceedings, and fiduciary litigation. Her background spans private practice, corporate counsel, and public service, providing her with the practical legal foundation and subject matter expertise required to navigate complex protective proceedings and estate disputes.

Prior to returning to private practice, Kate served as a Legal Hearing Officer for the Wake County Superior Court in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this judicial role, she presided over evidentiary hearings and issued orders on foreclosures, guardianship estates, and incompetency adjudications. Her previous experience as In-House Counsel managing complex corporate affairs further enhances her ability to evaluate intricate asset portfolios and commercial real estate holdings for her clients.

Kate is native to Connecticut, but after over a decade in North Carolina, is grateful to call Hillsborough home. Outside of the office, Kate spends most of her time wrangling two daughters, Charlotte and Vivienne, and a fluffy Frenchie named Walter.
