Potential Fraud With SBA Disaster Loan

If you did not receive an SBA disaster loan (PPP or other disaster loan), but receive a notice like the one below, you could be a victim of fraud and business identity theft.

Fraudsters apparently obtained many of these types of SBA loans using information stolen from small business owners, and the true businesses are starting to receive the statements for the fraudulently obtained loans.  Please do not ignore these notices as it can affect you and your credit because the SBA will assume it is actually your business until proven otherwise.

You can report suspected Small Business Administration Loan Fraud to the SBA’s Office of Inspector General Hotline at 800-767-0385.  You can also contact our office and we will be glad to assist you in contacting the SBA on your behalf.
