Marianna graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and a minor in Southern Studies. During her time at Carolina, Marianna served on the Student Attorney General’s Staff for Undergraduate Honor System, where she investigated and defended students accused of violating the Honor Code. She also served on the Executive Council for the Theta Tau Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Marianna attended Campbell University School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Excellence Scholar, Capital Scholar, and a recipient of the Minnie Deans Lamm Law Scholarship. In addition to her studies, Marianna assisted professors at Campbell Law teach first-year law students proper legal research and writing techniques in her role as Legal Writing Scholar. She earned her law degree in May of 2020.
Marianna clerked at Howard Stallings from May 2019 through her third year of law school. Having successfully passed the July bar exam, she is happy to return to the firm as an associate this fall.
