Rebecca focuses her practice primarily in the area of civil litigation. Rebecca’s passion for advocacy is in her blood. She is a third generation attorney following in the footsteps of her father, Attorney William O. Huffman, and her grandfather, the late Senator Odell H. Huffman of West Virginia. Rebecca is not satisfied unless she is helping others and works tirelessly to ensure her clients receive the outcome they deserve.
Since receiving her North Carolina law license in 2014, Rebecca’s experience has been diverse. Rebecca worked for an international law firm representing trillion dollar corporations with their business immigration needs. Rebecca has also represented individuals and businesses across North Carolina in civil, family, and criminal law matters in both District and Superior Courts.
Rebecca attended West Virginia University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Law and Legal Studies. During her time at WVU, Rebecca studied abroad at the University of Strasbourg in France where she completed courses in comparative law and politics.
Rebecca earned her law degree from North Carolina Central University. During law school, Rebecca was recognized by the North Carolina Bar Association for her commitment to pro bono legal services. Rebecca volunteered with the low income tax clinic, veteran’s law clinic, the death penalty project, and the innocence project. Rebecca was a dean’s list scholar and a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a professional law fraternity with a focus on service and equal justice. During law school Rebecca interned at the North Carolina Office of the Attorney General and Legal Aid of North Carolina.
In her spare time Rebecca loves to travel with her husband Cory and to spend time with family and friends.
